Last night we celebrated our 60th birthday and Christmas with our Ladies v Gents evening, and the ladies triumphed yet again! Congratulations. Margaret Black, one of the original members of the club, and Brian Coley, present chairman, cut our celebration cake which finished off an excellent buffet. Thanks to all who contributed, and also thanks to Sheila Richardson for organising the activities, and to Bruce for the quiz. An enjoyable evening for all.
This was the last meeting before Christmas. Our next meeting will be Friday 3rd January, our 4th open competition, The President’s Trophy, when John Williams will be our judge. A reminder that entries or the Landscape Competition should be handed in then.
