Friday 8th December 2023 –
Last night we held a member’s night. John handed out certificates to winners in the recent NCPF Annuals Competitions – congratulations to all those who received one or several (in some cases).
We then viewed the project on the River Derwent that club members had produced some 30 years ago. The original project was put together as a slide show with a commentary written and narrated by former club President, Sheila Richardson. John then set out the proposals for a follow up project by the club to be completed over the next year or so. The presentation is filed in the Members Area - General Topics.
Following this we looked through the winning images so far this season and members explained a little bit about the how and whys of taking their image.
A reminder that next week will be our last meeting before Christmas. Entries for the Christmas Card competition should be with Jane by midday on Friday please – remember some astounding prizes! Please remember nibbles.
Also, next week any entries for the PAGB should also be with Jane by then.
