This evening, we held our 2nd meeting of the new season. During the first part of the evening John (Fare) explained to members the connections between our club, the Western Area Clubs, the NCPF and PAGB and the various external competitions we enter during the season. Following this the new requirements for images entered into internal competitions were explained. (Copies of John’s presentations will be found on the club website and group facebook page)
This was followed by a variety of presentations members had prepared on their Summer Project. A five minute presentation on a topic of their own choice.
To round the evening off John introduced the new club project – The River Derwent - which all members were encouraged to participate in. Again, a copy of John’s presentation can be found on the website.
Next week Kevin Pigney will be joining us via zoom to give his talk ‘How I process my Nature Images’.
Also, next Friday, 22nd September, is the closing date for entries into the first Open Competition.
