John Gravett Presentation – Friday 24th January 2020.

Tonight, John made a welcome return to show us some of his many images. At this time of year, we are usually entertained by his ‘Lakeland Year’, but this time we travelled much further afield; to India, Iceland and Tuscany. His images transported us to the many different sights and sounds to be found in these diverse areas. From the splendours of the Taj Mahal to funeral pyres on the banks of the Ganges, onto waterfalls and erupting geysers in Iceland to sunrise over the beautiful Tuscan countryside and its’ many vineyards. A very enjoyable evening.

Our thanks to John who we will see again on 4th February when he will be judging our landscape competition.

A reminder that all images for the People competition should be handed in on Friday 4th February, and DPI’s for the Chairman’s Challenge – Still Life – should be in by 28th February.
