Image of the Year – Judge Alan Walker – 29th March 2019

Tonight, Alan Walker judged our Image of the Year; there were just over 40 prints and 40 PDI’s included. The images included had been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in competitions through the year, so a difficult job!

Alan gave us an informative and entertaining evening, making suggestions of how to make very good images even better. Some very worthy winners were chosen, but well done to all entrants for making the task so difficult and special congratulations to the Club members who achieved awards.

Sheila Richardson announced that she was awarding the President's Trophy to Keith Greggain for his work in the club over a significant period.

A reminder that next week, 5th April, there will be a quick review of external competition results followed by a demonstration of how to calibrate your monitor using the club’s Spyder which can be borrowed from the club.

The following week, 17th April is our AGM. Any questions you have, or issues you wish to be raised need to be sent to Derek by SUNDAY 31st MARCH.

Menus have been sent out for the club’s annual dinner on 26th April. Please let Brain have your choices (and your money) as soon as possible.
