John Gravett – 25th January 2019 – A Lakeland Perspective 2019.

John returned this evening to give us a season by season tour of the Lakes. His many beautiful pictures highlighted the wide variety of weather we experience in the county.

We saw snow and ice on Skiddaw, bluebells in the spring sunshine in Rannerdale, rainbows and storm clouds across the lakes, and remembering that sunshine from last summer when many of the lakes and rivers were drying up!

John finished the evening with a quick trip across the Canadian Rockies where he had led a workshop in September.

Next week Dave Smith returns to judge our Landscape Competition. Also, a reminder that next week is also hand in day for the People Competition and the 3 way battle.
